It’s that time of year again. Of course, I make these treats all year long, but they’re very festive with their red and white mints and they make for great gifts for barn mates and horse friends. And your horses (and mules) will love them:
While my original recipe and DIY guide still works, I thought I’d make a new video guide to show just how easy these treats are to make. This recipe makes 4 dozen and costs less than $5. It’s really the best way to provide your horses with the luxury horse treats they deserve without going broke.
ooo thank you so much for posting this!!!
I hope you try them.
Those look really good! I’m going to have to try it. 😉
I hope you do!
Sounds good but I will have to leave the mints off, Ms Mia does not like peppermints at all!
What! That’s crazy. The treats themselves are good and you could add some other candy to the top if you really want a topper.
This video is awesome!!
Thanks! I want to try to make a few of these.
Those look awesome! I will have to see what my ponies think!
They’ll love them.
Thanks for posting! I just need a kitchenaid mixer now! lol My little hand mixer might work, I’ll have to give it a try
You can totally hand mix these; they mix up really easily. I just use the kitchen aid because I have it.
