18. Your grooming routine
Step 1. Go to barn and be greeted by this:
Step 2. Place in wash rack that cannot be used for washing due to water restrictions.
Step 3. Cry on the inside.
Step 4. Get the triple shedding blade.
Step 5. Remove like 5% of the mud since it’s still wet.
Step 6. Brush off the saddle and girth areas as best as possible. Give up on everything else.
Step 7. Clean hoofs
TACK UP & RIDE
Step 8. Brush off.
Step 9. After ever ride I spray a mix of water and isopropyl alcohol on any sweaty spots. This speeds drying and kills any bacteria that might cause rain rot or other funguses.
Step 10. Allow beast to roll and return to their original state.
