In honor of Archie’s 18th birthday, tell me 18 things you love about your horse*.


I hate your pale white winter coat
And your long and dirty hair

I hate the way you trip and fall
I hate the way you stare

I hate your often muddy butt
And how you get like that

I hate how much I spend on the vet
The sums of which cannot be guessed at

I hate the way you refuse to trot
Unless you’re in the right mood

I hate it when you lose weight
And yet you still share your food

I hate the way I can’t always ride you
And the fact that you’re stuck in a stall

But mostly I hate the way I don’t hate you
Not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all

I didn’t make a full 18, but I did manage to make it rhyme so that’ll have to be good enough.

    Thanks. I really love 10 Things I Hate About You. It's such a good movie and really a better interpretation of The Taming of the Shrew than The Taming of the Shrew itself.
