300th Post: Cha-cha-cha-Changes

It took longer than I thought to get to 300 posts. Things have certainly changed a lot since I started this blog. Nilla has gone from being barely broke to a qualified show and endurance mule.

Shasta was side-lined by injury.

And – as of this weekend – we’ve gone from being a blog about “2 horses and a mule” to “3 horses and a mule.”
That’s right, we adopted Eugene this weekend. Stay tuned for a full post.
And finally, we are hoping to go from a 4 horse family back to a 3 horse family. I’ve thought long and hard about this and I am putting Dijon up for sale. I can afford to retire him, but he would really prefer not to be retired. He’s still fairly young, in great health, and bored with the lack of work he’s getting. He’d like to have his own person to love him and take him trail riding. He will be sold with a very strict buy-back policy and only to someone that I absolutely trust. I’ll take him back at any time if he needs to be retired.
There are some changes coming to the blog as well. I hope to finish buying a domain name and transitioning over in the next month or so.

EUGENE 300! New show name that I LOVE (because I love rapper names and LOVE LOVE LOVE Andre 3000). Congratulations and I can't wait to hear all about him AND the auction!
